The study was carried out to investigate the nutritional status of 361 students (179 female students and 182 male students) in Grades 1-4 students (6-12 years old) studying at the State Primary School and to compare their anthropometric measurements and nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of these parameters on age, gender, class, socioeconomic status of the family, duration of breastfeeding and frequency of food consumption.50.4 percent of the participants were female students and 49.6 percent were male students. 19.9 percent of the participants are 1st grade students, 22.2 percent are 2nd grade students, 27.1 percent are 3rd grade students, 26.3 percent are 4th grade students. 50.4 percent of the respondents were male and 49.6 percent were female. 5.5 percent of the participants are 6 years old, 22.2 percent are 7 years old, 23.8 percent are 8 years old, 29.6 percent are 9 years old and 18.8 percent are 10 years and over. The average weight of the participants was 39.9 kg, the minimum weight was 17 kg and the maximum weight was 68 kg. The average length of the participants was 128 cm, the minimum length was 109 cm and the maximum length was 158 cm. The mean BMI of the participants was 17.8 kg / m2, the minimum BMI was 11.6 kg / m2 and the maximum BMI was 34.0 kg / m2. When the BMI percentiles of the participants were evaluated, it was found that 18.6 percent were weak, 48.5 percent normal, 13.9 percent slightly obese and 19.1 percent very obese. It was determined as. When the sociocultural and socioeconomic status of the families of the participants were evaluated, it was found that the majority of the participants were housewives (78.1 percent). The father of the majority of the participants was found to have a medium socio-cultural occupation (44.9 percent). When the monthly income of the family of the participants was examined, it was found that most of the participants' income (33.2 percent) was concentrated on the middle level. As the fathers of the participants of the study increased their professional status, the rate of consuming red meat less than 2 days a week and less than 2 days decreased. When the relationship between the nutrition preferences of the participants was examined, the mean consumption of milk and fish was at most 7-year-old children and the differences were statistically significant (p <0.05). On the other hand, consumption of foods other than milk and fish consumption did not show significant differences according to age groups (p> 0.05). When the relationship between the nutrition preferences of the participants in the study is examined, milk and fish consumption is highest in 1st grade, mayonnaise / cream and carbonated beverage consumption is highest in 3rd grade and vegetable food consumption is highest in 4th grade and shows statistically significant difference according to classes ( p <0.05). Consumption levels of other foods did not show statistically significant differences according to class (p> 0.05). When the relationship between the nutritional preferences of the participants was examined according to their monthly income, milk group, meat group, vegetable dishes and olive oil consumption of children with high income families; yoghurt, legume, fruit, pasta / bulgur / rice, butter and honey / jam / tahini / molasses were consumed in children of middle-high income families and broth tablets were consumed significantly more in children of low income families (p < 0.05). When the relationship between nutrition preferences according to BMI percentile values of the participants was examined, yoghurt, cheese, vegetable dishes, pasta / bulgur / rice and butter consumption were obese; consumption of broth tablets, chips and carbonated beverages was significantly higher in the weak group (p <0.05). Consumption levels of other foods did not differ statistically according to BMI percentile groups (p> 0.05).In fact, although the results seem to contradict the literature, the study examined the food consumption of different BMI groups, not the effect of food consumption on BMI. In addition, according to weight percentile values, red meat and sunflower oil in the weak, broth tablets consumption is very weak in terms of statistical significance is higher (p <0.05). According to height percentile values, red meat consumption was significantly higher in those with very long meat and broth tablets in shorter ones (p <0.01).As a result; In the study population, children in the normal group were the majority in BMI, height and weight percentiles. When the rest of the distribution was examined, BMI and weight were above the normal distribution, while height percentile was below the normal distribution. In our study, as the children in the age of growth and development achieved the weight percentile, they did not reach the height percentile, and as expected, BMI percentages were normal and above normal. However, when the food consumption preferences and frequencies were examined in terms of anthropometric measurements, they did not result as expected.

Araştırma Devlet İlköğretim Okulu'nda okuyan 1-4.sınıf öğrencisi 6-12 yaş aralığında olan, 179'u kız öğrenci, 182'si erkek öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 361 öğrencinin beslenme durumlarını incelemek ve antropometrik ölçümleri ile beslenme durumlarını kıyaslamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu parametrelerin yaş, cinsiyet, sınıf, ailenin sosyoekonomik durumu, anne sütü alım süresi, besin tüketim sıklığı gibi faktörlerden ne ölçüde etkilendiklerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların yüzde 50,4'ü kız öğrenciden, yüzde 49,6'sı erkek öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcıların yüzde 19,9'u 1.sınıf öğrencisi, yüzde 22,2'si 2.sınıf öğrencisi, yüzde 27,1'i 3.sınıf öğrencisi, yüzde 26,3'ü 4.sınıf öğrencisidir. Katılanların yüzde 50,4 'ü erkek yüzde 49,6'sı kızdır. Katılımcıların yüzde 5,5'i 6 yaşında, yüzde 22,2'si 7 yaşında, yüzde 23,8'i 8 yaşında, yüzde 29,6'sı 9 yaşında ve yüzde 18,8'i 10 yaş ve üzeridir. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların ağırlık ortalamaları 39,9 kg, minimum ağırlık değerinin 17 kg ve maksimum ağırlık değerinin 68 kg tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların boy uzunluklarının ortalamaları 128 cm, minimum boy uzunluğunun 109 cm ve maksimum boy uzunluğunun 158 cm tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların VKI değerinin ortalamaları 17,8 kg/m2, minimum VKI değerinin 11,6 kg/m2 ve maksimum VKI değerinin 34,0 kg/m2 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların VKİ persentillerinin değerlendirilmesine bakıldığında, yüzde 18,6'sı zayıf, yüzde 48,5'i normal, yüzde 13,9'u hafif şişman, yüzde 19,1'i çok şişman olarak tespit edilmiştir.
