Today societies? life styles, traditions and faith structures on New-World formation creates a number of mythos which we determined via knowledge that cannot be denominated exactly but carried from the past till today, the analysis of sociological situations, traditional worth and legendary faiths, in the present postmodern system. These are naturally accepted as new forms of the archaic age mythos, i.e. ?postmodern mythos?, which were altered by the New-World formation.Herein, as the forms of people?s self-categorization in society, while making analyses of the absolute postmodern mythos, lots of similarities can be seen at the sociological structure and conformation of classic World mythology and even at mythological character forms of it. The aim of this work is that to annotate the changings that the mythos of the ancient age experienced from the ancient times till today and to highlight the products of the results that this changing displayed.Cinematography which aims at mass culture that develops a social movement and shapes this culture as it wants to be (probably) the area which gives the most and the leading products as an aspect of postmodern and classic mythology adaptation in all art branches nowadays. By following cinema, the art of painting makes postmodern mythology a concept as a special manner that human being refers to primitively through the ages and establishes relationships between classical mythology and today. The other important expression area is the art of photography. Today?s technology transports photograph to a digital platform. Consequently, it is possible to manipulate the photographs in the computer medium. Next to this, postmodern mythological narratives are worked in the art of photography by using this technique. Therefore, cinema, painting and photography are revealed as the disciplines to comment on them at this work which evaluates the analyses of the works of art that are composed by the emulation ways of the mythos from the classical mythos at Modern World Mythology and Postmodernism. Firstly, the domestic and the foreign texts related to these disciplines are collected, then some analyses are performed on these chosen samples, and eventually the synthesis of all the information is explained. As a result, the general aim of this work is that to examine artistic data which today?s artists and film directors produced by framing the classical mythos or the mythos which were constituted by the sociologic, economic and the political movements in the societies of the Modern World system and by gathering this with today?s perspective in technical matter and manner. By the consciousness of this topic?s high level reflections to the popular culture, all the products whose signs that are seen frequently in the areas of the cinema, painting and photography are displayed and it is willed to shed light on the fact of postmodern mythology.
