Özet

Salafism is a new concept in the Islamic thought. The salafi movement attached itself known to the first members of the Islamic religionso-called `salaf`.In the general sense, the Salaf descendant does not have a single style and understanding, but from the second century of Islam, two concepts of hadith and ray are mentioned. The traditionalist Hadis adherence of some people who have settled in the field of Hadith proves itself with the pressure of the period of the Abbasids and the resistance it shows against the tangents. After the Crusades, Ibn Taymiyyah, a member of Khanbeli sect, initiated a rehabilitation and return movement in a world of social and political turmoil among the Mongol attacks. This effort has revealed various debates in society. Ibn Taymiyyah, a scholar of such a complex period, has struggled with the lessons he has given and the works he has written. This work identifies the historical development of traditional Islamic thought and the position of Ibn Taymiyyah in this process.
