The main purpose of this research is to evaluate 2013 third grade Science curriculum based on teacher's opinions. Additionally determining problems encountered with in the process of the implications of the science curriculum and solution suggestions was among the study goals.Convenience sampling technique was used for selecting research participants who worked as third grade teachers in Antakya, Hatay. After, 193 surveys were completed by the teachers, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 randomly selected participants among them. This study is designed in a survey model. Surveys and semi- structured interview protocols were used as data collection tools. The data collected though surveys were analyzed by calculating the frequencies, percentages, standard deviations and arithmetic mean. While Kruskal Wallis test was used to determine whether there is a significant difference in teachers' opinions about the dimensions of the curriculum based on their work experience and their pre-service education; t test was chosen to determine whether there is a significant difference in teachers' opinions based on whether they received in-service trainings. According to the research results, survey items teachers responded `I agree` between survey items on average in relation to curriculum gains (X=3.65), content (X=3.81) and learning-teaching processes (X=3.42) . In terms of 2013 Science curriculum's assessment and evaluation (X=3.06) dimensions, between survey items on average teachers reported `undecided`. No significant difference was found among teachers when the curriculum gains, content, learning-teaching processes, and assessment and evaluation dimensions were evaluated based on the teachers' work experiences and pre-service preparations. Teachers thought that teaching science starting from third grade was a positive development. Additionally, they found the curriculum gains and the content appropriate for students' levels, effective in creating environmental consciousness, and aimed at preparing individuals who are science literate. When it comes the problems related to the implications of the curriculum teachers reported the lack of equipment and materials; assessment and evaluation methods; student work of book and teacher book.
