Throughout the ages, assassination of the leading names of the community has become one of the most frequently used methods in the world. This is because the indefinite criminals, called dark foci, want to create a chaotic environment. This continues throughout history, even in the 21st century. This method, which is preferred due to political reasons, is also important in that the result is the beginning of uncertain processes. There have been many assassinations in Turkey that can not be uncovered. These assassinations spread to a wide range of journalists, politicians, and academics, while more journalist assassinations were on the agenda. However, there are many assassinations against academicians in Turkey. Moreover, these academical assassinations include the recent history of Turkey dating from the 1970s to the late 1990s. Those who have been assassinated are the most successful academicians in their field during the period and their works are still being updated. While almost all of these assassinations are carried out for political and ideological reasons, these reasons have not been investigated in an academic sense and no scientific research has been conducted before. The main aim of preparing the dissertation is to introduce these academicians and to clarify some uncertainties in the political conjuncture of the periods in which the assassinations took place, by explaining why these murders were committed, by whom the original planners behind the assassinations were and what they were the result of.Keywords: Assasination, Politics, İdeology, Education, Universities, Academicians, The Assasinations of Academician.
