The main objective of this study is to compare healthy individuals' single and dual task performances. The current study has been conducted in Northern Cyprus and healthy individuals from 3 different age groups were recruited as participants. In total, there were 93 individuals who participated in this study. The age range of participants in Group 1 was 30-39. In Group 2, it was 40-49 and for the Group 3, age range was 50-65. The mean age of the participants was 45,78 +- 10,02. Stroop Test was used in order to measure the mental functions of individuals. As another measurement, L Test was used in 3 different versions to compare the single and dual task performances of the participants. In the first L Test, participants completed only one task(L Testsingle). However, in the second L Test, participants were required to complete the test with an additional motor task (L Testmotor). In the third and the last L Test, participants completed the test with an additional cognitive task (L Testcognitive). Stroop Test results indicated that cognitive task performances declines as the age increases (p<0.05). More specifically, older people tend to score less on cognitive tasks, compared to the younger participants. According to the results of the comparisons of both single and dual tasks, the lowest performance scores on dual tasks, both for motor and cognitive tasks, were among Group 3 (p<0.05). Overall, it was found that there is an influence of age and mental functions on single and dual tasks of L Test.
