Özet

This study consists of eight chapters. In the first one, the reference notices are given. In the second one, the basic definitions and theorems which is to be used in the subsequent parts is introduced. In the third one, an establishing process of difference schemes to the Dirichlet problem is carried out. In the fourth one, the stability of the numerical solution of the Dirichlet difference problem is investigated by means of the theorems such as the Maximum principle and the Majorant theorem. In the fifth one, some properties of the difference operators to the Laplace operator in a rectangular region is given and certain estimates of the difference approximations of the second order elliptic operators with variable coefficients and mixed derivatives in discrete norm is presented. In the sixth one, the high-accurated difference schemes to the Dirichlet problem in a rectangular region is discussed. In the seventh one, which is an appendix part, the theoritical results to the Poisson equation is provided in a computer-aided manner by means of C-programs and an algorithm is realized. The last chapter consists of the discussion and conclusion parts in which the thesis is assesed.
