Nowadays, optical communication systems are of great importance in the field of communication. With the developments in optical communication systems, radio communication is carried out over fiber due to advantages of optic fiber between base station and central station in mobile communication. In the first part of the study, general information about optical communication and radio communication over fiber is mentioned. In the second chapter, the radio communication over fiber is examined and its advantages and disadvantages are explained. In addition, the use of WDM (Wavelength Division Multplexing) and OADM (Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer) elements are described. In the third chapter, the radio communication system components were analyzed. Pulse generators, modulators, amplifiers and filters are described. In the fourth chapter, the radio communication system design was made by using the Optisystem program and the effects of NRZ and RZ pulse generators, Mach-Zender and Electroabsorption modulators on the system were analyzed. In addition, the designs of EDFA, Raman and YDFA amplifier were analyzed and the differences of the filters with Gaussian, Bessel and Butterworth filters were investigated. In the fifth chapter, the results obtained were evaluated. Keywords: ROF, radio, optic, fiber, communication.
