Migration has caused significant developments throughout human history and continues to be the cause. In many parts of the world, wars, economic straits, political pressures are pushing people to migrate massively. In order to be able to protect the `right to life`, one of the most basic human rights, people are forced to leave their homeland and migrate to other countries in hopes of finding solutions to the problems they face.Throughout history, Anatolian lands have witnessed immigration. As Turkey transits from a transit country to a target country, Istanbul plays host to people from different geographies and cultures. This difference was also a similar effect of the Syrian War which started in 2011 and is still going on. Syrians have migrated to neighboring countries to protect themselves and their families. And as of 2017, Turkey was the country with the highest number of Syrians in its territory. When we look at the province, Istanbul is in the first place with 479,880 people. When we say immigration, one of the most important ones affected is emotion and emotion control. It is known that immigration is a stressful event and this stress lasts for a long time and affects the entire metabolism. In migration forced by war, people live a lot of violent traumatic events, these violent memories that children accumulate affect their feelings, especially their anger.Migration and change of environment are very extensive. With immigration, living land, living house, education institution, relatives and neighboring environment, important changes in friend environment and all of them change at the same time. This change also affects social harmony. This study was conducted to determine the level of anger and social adjustment of the children aged between 6-12 years.
