This research is carried out in order to put forward the possibilities, limits and attitudes of time usage and general knowledge level about time management theory of the managerial staff who work in the Central Organization of General Directorate of Youth and Sport which is the management and control center of Turkish sport. In this research, first the theoretical background derived from the literature scan about Turkish Sport Organization and Time Management theory is given, then the findings taken from the survey which was applied to the managerial staff of the Central Organization of General Directorate of Youth and Sport are evaluated. The survey included general information and time management attitudes of the directors. In the general information part, demographic information, employment level and duration, time usage possibilities and limits, productive work times are researched. In the second part the questions which would enlighten the knowledge background of directors about time management, and the behaviors and attitudes of the directors were included. The survey was answered by a total of 86 directors of whom 38 are branch directors, 35 are general secretaries and 13 are high level directors. The survey was analyzed within SPSS software; arithmetical averages, frequencies and percentages are shown; and kruskal-wallis test is used to point out if there are meaningful differences between time management behaviors according to some variables. As the results of the analyses; married and female directors are better than others in managing time, but education level, in contrast to expectations, does not affect the use of time. In addition it is understood that working after work hours and during weekend days result with the decrease of performance. Those who have preference between hours and days have pointed out that Monday and Wednesday are more productive days and morning hours are more productive times. Time wasters are different for high level directors than others. Contrary to the expectations, educational status does not affect the level of time management knowledge.
