The GSM system is the most widely used mobile telecommunications system in use in the world today. The letters GSM originally stood for the words Groupe Speciale Mobile, but as it became clear this standard was to be used world wide the meaning of GSM was changed to Global System for Mobile Communications. Since it was first deployed in 1991, the use of GSM has grown steadily, and it is now the most widely cell phone system in the world. The GSM system was designed as a second generation (2G) cellular communication system. One of the basic aims was to provide a system that would enable greater capacity to be achieved than the previous first generation analogue systems.GSM systems have the stations; the base transceiver stations (BTS) are organized into small groups, controlled by a base station controller (BSC) which is typically co-located with one of the BTSs. The BSC with its associated BTSs is termed the base station subsystem (BSS). Further into the core network is the main switching area. This is known as the mobile switching centre (MSC). Associated with it is the location registers, namely the home location register (HLR) and the visitor location register (VLR) which track the location of mobiles and enable calls to be routed to them. Additionally there is the Authentication Centre (AuC), and the Equipment Identify Register (EIR) those are used in authenticating the mobile before it is allowed onto the network and for billing. Last but not least is the mobile itself. Often termed the ME or mobile equipment, this is the item that the end user sees. One important feature that was first implemented on GSM was the use of a Subscriber Identity Module. This card carried with it the user?s identity and other information to allow the user to upgrade a phone very easilyMobil Station (MS) is terminal equipment for user communication. In public is named as mobile phone. Mobile phone production can be classified in two main groups; Standard components and extra properties. Standard components are the minimum features for working mobile phone. These are; Coprocessor (CPU), Power IC, Helga (RF IC), Network control unit, Flash, SDRAM, EEPROM, Keyboard, Charge unit and SIM control unit. Extra properties are; Infrared, Camera, Bluetooth Connection, MMC Multimedia Card Connection, Radio, Modem and Wireless. Mobile Phone interface diagram and component layout functions were explained. When mobile phone failure or breakdown, at authorized services is being fallowed to repairing them in four phases, in first phase, Mobile phones is programmed and original main software upgraded. At second phase, broken plugging equipments in mobile phones are changed with a new one. This phase included only plugging equipment and interval films. In the third phase circuit equipment is changed. Especially Resistor, Capacitor, Transistor, Diode and etc... to be controlled on the main board. Having any failure these equipments, technical personals mend by changing failure equipment with new one. At the last phase UEME, CPU, Flash, Helega etc. integers are changing. After this rank un repairing mobile phone board is send to swap that is changing with new board. All of authorized services era using these method to mending, but most of the un repairing boards can be mending. For example, the reason of the some of the board?s failure is broken of the soldering in circuit or the failure integers in brokenness silicone that can not changed by the services due to testing failure by computer software with that connections. So that testing programs showing the failure result on integers even short cut or broken soldering. In these sections the productivity in low. To make it high, We need to add new methods that as a five phase, to jumpering broken off the lines or soldering, and six phases to changing the sticking integers on board by silicone. At the five phase, Firstly, to finding the broken off the line by using circuit diagrams of the phones. Secondly, to mending the broken paths between integers and board by digging the second layer of the pertinence to opening lay under the path and to join it by soldering. Mobile phone main board is produced in seven layers. In the centre of the pertinences have the ground circuits. The second layers have the power circuits. RF circuit connection is at the back second layer. Data bus connections and circuits are placed on upper layers. On the surface of the pertinence, the last layer?s circuits are designed for to connect nearer components. While using the mobile phone some problems can be occurred due to stretching or falling as snapping connections between layers. Snapping line can be mending with jumpering by soldering. The last phase is changing fastening integers with silicone. Firstly board is holding with tools then mixing resin with alcohol is applying on brokenness silicone integers. After that Failure integer is heating with heat gun at 430 C to softing silicone and liquefies the solder. In enough heat, integer is pulling up with tweezers After these operation integers and board is cleaning from silicones and then soldered integer is plug on the board at 380 C by heat gun. These new methods are increase the productivity of the repairing achieves from %60-65 to % 90-95 degrees. However while repairing the phone, working time is longer from 30 minute to 1 hour for new methods. But if we compare with swapping time to repairing time and service?s cost of swapping to repairing, these methods is very useful for low cost and to return to costumer times because of the swapping time is too longer by legal procedures. As a result, while communication from one mobile phone to another, having some platforms and their functions were examined. However, Mobile phone circuit, component layout and schematic circuit diagrams were explained that to showing architectures and principles of the mobile phones. In addition to this to intend become easier to mending mobile phone.
