The distancing of the object by the emerging modes of production from itself as a form perceived by its own reality has positioned the object in a form that is generated by the image of the object positioned in an isolated form. The world and the perception of modern man completely surrounded by objects, having taken shape according to the means of production and marketing that define this world, have reached a point where they give meaning to and define objects through images produced by the culture of consumption. The object that becomes tangible through an image that the mass media offer is now experienced as a two-dimensional reality constructed in an artificial reality. The lack of perception of the object through its own reality and through its own existence has changed the past way of perception of the object-human relationship. The relationship of image and reality, and the changing perception of this relationship today have distanced man from his own life experience. For the ordinary object that enters into the realm of art along with readymade, its abstracting from the functions that it brings with as a tool and becoming the material of the artwork carries the effort of capturing again the perception of reality through the art image in addition to bringing a critical approach to the image-reality relationship by the artist who thinks about the object. This approach in which the illusion disappears in the representation of the art image transforms the art image into reality itself. In my artworks that appear in this text, the representation through the art image of the visuality that belongs to the chosen object carries with it the effort to evoke and remind the viewer of the aura and of the human dimension that creates the perception of this aura of the objects that are created with traditional materials and methods and that bear signs related to human in the human-object relationship. My artworks aim at capturing the view that will bring to mind the experience that belongs to man that man has lost in the materialized life and the memory that this experience has created. This view also reflects the lost human-dimension of reality. Keywords: Image, Object, Reality, Alienation, Art.
