The subject of the study is Saçlı Abdülkadir Camii-Hoca Sadeddin Darülkurrası which is one of the sample of Ottoman architecture in Merkez Neighbourhood, Eyupsultan, Istanbul. The structure with its graveyard is located in the 52 block, parcels numbered 64-65-66. It has been used in different functions over time and has been one of the examples that have reached the present. The fact that a detailed study on the structure has not been made has been an important factor in the selection of the thesis topic. The aim of the study is to develop the proposals for the examination, restoration and, preservation of the current situation of the structure. In the dissertation study, the documents to illuminate the history of the work were searched by scanning the archives. In the scope of the study, a comparative study and a history research were carried out of the ''darülkurra''s which are located in Istanbul. After, the current situation of the structure was examined and the drawings which were documented by 3D laser scanning were transferred to the digital medium. During the study, material and damage analyzes were also conducted showing the state of the structure. In the direction of the investigations made, the history of the structure is divided into three periods. The first period was the 16th century when it was built as a ''darülkurra''. The second period is dated between 1800-1895. And the third period is in between the years of 1985 when the library of Ebü'l Hüda was built next to the darülkurra and 1956 when the mosque's roof and mezzanine floor were demolished. Drawings were supported by documentation and photographs. According to the aerial photographs of the last community section and the tombs-women's community, which are available today, it was determined that they were made between 2000 and 2006. In the restoration project prepared to protect construction as a cultural asset and to transfer it to the future generations in a better situation, a solution proposal was presented to solve problems caused by wrong interventions and environmental conditions.
