The Maulawi was a sect that was the most adopted in the Turkish-Islamic geography among othet sects and succeeded in attracting even the attention of the state with its activities. Maulawi order, whose foundations were laid in the light of Mevlânâ's teachings, shaped as a result of the superior efforts of his son Sultan Veled and his caliph Hüsâmeddin Çelebi maintained its existence both in the Seljuk State and in the Ottoman Empire for many years. The Maulawi took their places in many areas of life, from music to architecture, from literature to clothing and they influenced many groups with their own culture. The subject of our thesis is the elements of Mevlânâ and Maulawi in the Divan named Bahâr-ı Efkâr by Keçecizâde İzzet Molla, one of the poets of the XIX. century and one of the prominent Maulawi lover. While creating the main lines of our thesis, we got informed by reading Mevlânâ's life, his ideas and approach to Maulawi order and history and culture of Maulawi order. We have collected the relevant elements under the relevant headings. In our thesis, the elements of Maulawi culture have been discussed in general terms, and the appearance of these elements in İzzet Molla Divan has been covered with sample couplets. In doing so, the identified elements are explained primarily from different sources. Then the sample couplets are translated into prose, commented where necessary. The Maulawi personalities of the Bahâr-ı Efkâr Divan are also included. Thus, it has been aimed to show the use of the Maulawi elements in Ottoman poetry in particular in the divan of İzzet Molla's Bahâr-ı Efkâr.
