At the present time, the inequality in income distribution, failure to acces to resources, not getting enough share of prosperity, tncreasing business activities in principal human needs, political and economic developments in national and international fields brought about a new order and injustice while capitalism is increasing its impact on a global scale. The effects of these developments have been deepened by the great changes in the fields such as technology and communication. Following these developments, concept of social exclusion has become a `signal flare` for the negativities that can be experienced in the near, medium and long term.Although the concept of social exclusion refers to being excluded from society and the lack of humanitarian living conditions, it is obvious that a large part of society is included in the definition of the concept without being aware of it.When the concept of social exclusion emerged, it was claimed that the determination of the person or groups to be evaluated within this concept was difficult. Today, it is known that people with disabilities, the elderly, the unemployed, the homeless, the poor, refugees, women and children are the risk groups. There are all of the groups which is likely exposed to social exclusion in Turkey. However, the issues such as violence against women and child abuse are the priority areas. Even though mass media changes shape and course, it maintains its important role in informing society. Media tools not only inform people, but also make them aware of the latest developments. In the communication cycle, the individual continues to exist both as an object and as a subject. While media maintains a primary importance for socially excluded groups to be recognized by the rest of the society, the issue of criticism here has been the way in which these groups were reflected and processed.
