The ability of retail businesses to better serve their customers and to meet their expectations is dependent on the product supplied by the retail supplier and the logistics and the corporate activities. These support components play a determinant role in the relationship between the supplier and the retailers. While some of the behavior of the suppliers constitutes an added value providing continuity of relationship with the retailer companies, others have been observed to have no effect. In this study, which behaviors of the supplier companies (product related, logistical and organizational factors) add value and which have influence on the intention of the retailer to continue the relationship, and customer trust and satisfaction are researched. Towards this aim; cost, importance of the product, innovation, brand, personal investments, logistical performance, flexibility, size of the company, replacability, quality of the sales personnel, and image were identified as variables that influence customer satisfaction and continuing relationship. These variables have been grouped under 4 principal groups. Hypothesis in relation to the three different dimensions of the relational factors (trust, customer satisfaction, and continuing relationship) were developed and a theoretical model was formulated in accordance with the aforementioned factors. This theoretical model and the hypothesis were tested using regression techniques. As a result of the application, of questions prepared from studies with a high level of trustworthiness, to 151 retailer chain stores; it was observed that the trust generated by the supplier, and special investments were positively linked to the continuing of the relationship by the retailer company, and that the suppliers replacability had a negative effect. At the same time the private investments of the supplier, innovative activities, and the quality o f the sales personnel and the retailers feeling of trust were positively linked. Also the retailer?s satisfaction and the private investments were fund to be positively and the retailer?s satisfaction and the replacability factor negatively linked.
