In our study, we examined the theatrical works of Nuri Pakdil stating that he is an Islamist to the core and whose works are evaluated within the scope of Islamic literature. The main purpose of our thesis is to examine Pakdil's theatrical works within the scope of the notion `conscience`. What takes us to the topic conscience in the Koran is the references Pakdil makes to the Koran in his theatrical works. Consequently, we came up with the following idea: Pakdil considers practicing the things required to be done and not to be done in a conscientious manner. Concerning this issue, the unity of mind, heart and action is the conscience provider. Our thesis consists of seven parts. We have identified that the most prominent concept in Pakdil's theatrical works is the thought of God in the last section of the thesis addressing the conscientious elements. This situation stems from Pakdil's attitude that he consciously adopts as an author because, according to Pakdil, the thought of God should be discussed in every area that affects people. The most influential technique was theatre when he was performing the act of writing, therefore he produced works in this area. In all of his theatrical works, he criticized Atheism, disbelief and being unrooted. In literature review, we found that there have been few studies concerning Pakdil's theatrical works. In general, we observed that he came to the forefront with his works Edebiyat journal, Sükut Sûretinde and Klas Duruş. We have noted that his intellectual stance was also examined with concepts such as hope, Middle East, allegiance, ownership and exploitation, being at the forefront in his works. Pakdil's theatrical works were not studied under the title `absurd` comprehensively. Our aim is to contribute to the literature by examining all the theatrical works of Pakdil focusing on conscience. Keywords: Nuri Pakdil, Conscience, the Koran, Literature, Theatre, absurd.

Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de vicdan şeklinde bir başlığa bizi götürense, Pakdil'in tiyatrolarında Kur'ân'a yaptığı göndermeler olmuştur. Genel olaraksa Pakdil'in Edebiyat dergisi, Sükut Sûretinde ve Klas Duruş isimli eserleriyle öne çıktığını gözlemledik. Eserlerinde öne çıkan umut, Ortadoğu, biat, mülkiyet ve sömürü gibi kavramlarla birlikte entelektüel duruşunun incelendiğini saptadık. Bu taramalar esnasında, Pakdil'in tiyatrolarının, absürd başlığı altında, derli toplu bir biçimde incelenmediğini tespit ettik. Bunun üzerine, Pakdil'in bütün tiyatrolarını, vicdan odağında inceleyerek literatüre bir katkı sağlamayı amaçladık. Anahtar Kelimeler: Nuri Pakdil, Vicdan, Kur'ân-ı Kerîm, Edebiyat, Tiyatro, absürd.
