The purpose of this thesis is to make a resarch about the features, area of usage, design and development of the video conference softwares and to develop a video conference software. Also in this study, some analysis has been performed about what kind of advantages may be provided by using IPv6 network protocol and how this will affect to the quality of the video conferencing during development of the software. For the lifecycle of Fi6en develoment; the first aim is to create a skilled video conference software and at the second phase IPv6 connection support has been added. It is predicted that; some of the features that comes with IPv6 may increase the quality of video conferencing. Thus, IPv6 efficiency tests can be performed on a video conferencing software has been developed. In the first chapter of this study, a brief introduction in which aim of the thesis is explained has been begun and in the second chapter, preliminary studies about video conferencing and IPv6 have been explained. In the third and fourth chapters, there are the performed studies about design and development of the software.
