Özet

Âişe Abdurrahman is an important figure encountered in the world of academia. She penned a wide range of works. We see her compilations of works specifically in the fields of hermeneutics and hadith pertaining to the basic İslamic disciplines. Besides the body of work written in academic style, she produced work in the form of enquiry, novels, and essays. Her work titled Nisâü'n-nebî, which comprises the main topic of our thesis, is one of the works of Âişe Abdurrahman in the form of biography. Âişe Abdurrahman, who took an interest in the the Quran and aspired to master it well enough to teach it, introduced this crucial work as a significant study that enables a deeper understanding of the prophet's blessed house. İt has been found that this compelling work by Âişe Abdurrahman, which explores the lives of the Prophet's wives, has not been studied in an academic context before even though there is an abundance of research about her works in the field of hermeneutics. With the purpose of filling this important gap in the field, we have analyzed her book Nisâü'n-nebî and included in our study some constructive criticism so that the seeds of wisdom she cultivated come into bloom. We used methods of literature review and analysis in the first section which deals with the writer's life and works. İn the second section, which consists of the analysis and criticism of the work, we once again used literature review and analysis method.
