Questionnaires were applied to the cabin staff working in an airline company. In this context, a total of 200 cabin personnel were reached. As a result of the statistical analyzes, it was aimed to reveal the level of the role of A / B Type personality traits on perceived stress. Although there is a statistically significant relationship from the research, it is concluded that this effect is weak. In the following studies, when examining the stress of cabin staff, it was concluded that more independ-ent variables should be taken into the model.Key Words: A and B type personality, perceived stress.

Bu çalışmada A/B Tipi kişilik ve stres kavramları incelenerek, kabin memurlarının sahip olduğu A/B Tipi kişilik özelliklerinin algıladıkları stres üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, stresli bir meslek grubu olarak görülen kabin memurlarının iş ortamında yaşadıkları stresi değerlendirerek, sahip olunan kişilik özelliklerinin yaşanan bu durum üzerinde ne ölçüde etkili olduğunu açıklayabilmek için kavramlar arasındaki ilişkiyi saptamayı amaçlamıştır.A/B tipi kişilik modelinin algılanan strese olan etkisinin daha önce böyle bir meslek grubu üzerinde incelenmemiş olması araştırmanın temel güdüsünü oluşturmaktadır.Çalışmada, kavramlar arasındaki ilişkiler tek bir model altında ele alınmıştır. Veri toplamada kullanılan anketler bir havayolu şirketinde görev yapan kabin personeline uygulanmıştır. Bu kapsamda toplamda 200 kabin personeline ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel analizlerin sonucunda A/B Tipi kişilik özelliklerinin algılanan stres üzerindeki rolünün hangi düzeyde olduğunun ortaya konması hedeflenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: A ve B tipi kişilik, algılanan stres.
