Today, along with unplanned urbanization, rapid population growth, migration and industrialization leads to a wide variety of environmental problems. From theese problems, one of the most important one is the noise pollution.Increasing with the noise level, suffering from insomnia, anxiety, unproductive work, lack of concentration, are known to occur health problems such as extreme nervousness. From this point of study, Besiktas district of Istanbul province by subtracting the noise map, and solutions are presented. Besiktas district is determined by convenience sampling method, between March 2009 and February 2010 from 35 day-night, weekday-weekend, and the noise map is obtained by measurements made in the winter and the summer. Measurements were made at different times of the day at specified points. Measurements CEL -254 Digital Impulse Sound Level Meter made with the device. As a result of analysis and evaluation, the noise level when determining the highest Barbaros Bulvari-Zincirikuyu Bus Station (79,55±4,22), the lowest level in Yıldız Parki Koruluk Region (49,30±5,47) was observed. Measurements weekday night, weekend, day, night, and weekend values, depending on the season (summer and winter) showed statistical significant difference (p <0,05).Constant exposure to noise pollution on human health due to the negative impact on most of the time, but have not noticed a significant factor. Although some studies on the subject and regulations in our country are problems in practice. From local authorities, the relevant decision-makers to take measures at the macro level, the creation or expansion of recreation areas, especially in large cities, the destruction of the occurrence of adverse effects on human health, the benefit of which is considered to be.
