Copper is one of the industry's most preferred metals after iron thanks to its physical and chemical properties. But copper is also corroded like any metal that can be used in industry. Therefore, it is coated with various metals and alloys in order to increase the corrosion resistance in many places where it is used as the main material. However, these metals also lose their long-term protection properties. It is preferable to use molybdenum metal in the form of metal alloy rather than environmentally friendly and highly costly passivation processes in terms of environmentally friendly and high corrosion performance. On the other hand, molybdenum metal, like any metal that can be oxidized, will also undergo long-term corrosion. It is possible to extend this process using conductive polymer films in today's technology. In this study, ZnNiMo alloy is coated from the alloy coating bath containing Mo ions at low concentration. Although the molybdate admixture produced a passivation effect on the surface, the presence of active zinc in the surface required an additional passivation process. Therefore, in the second stage, conductive polymer film synthesis was performed on ZnNiMo alloy coated copper surface (Cu/ZnNi and Cu/ZnNiMo). However, it is also taken into account that many synthesis conditions affect the structure of conductive polymer films. It is quite time consuming to determine the extent to which these factors influence the conditions of synthesis by conventional methods and are likely to make mistakes. Therefore, both the number of experiments can be minimized by using the response surface method (YYY) and the effects of many synthesis conditions can be examined simultaneously. In this study, the effects of electrolyte bath components and concentrations of electrolyte bath components on the corrosion resistance of polypyrrole and poly (N-methylpyrrole) homo films at low concentration with Mo-doped Cu/ZnNiMo alloy surface. In the low concentration of ZnNi alloy and alloys (Na2C2O4: Na2Mo4) with low concentration, the factor parameters which give the highest corrosion resistance for homopolymer films synthesized in the electrolyte mixture at different concentration ratios were determined.

Bakır, fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikleri sayesinde demirden sonra, endüstrinin en çok tercih ettiği metallerden biridir. Fakat bakır da endüstride kullanılabilecek her metal gibi korozyona uğramaktadır. Bu yüzden ana malzeme olarak kullanıldığı pek çok yerde korozyon dayanımının arttırılması amacıyla çeşitli metal ve alaşımlarla kaplanmaktadır. Ancak bu metaller de uzun vadede koruma özelliklerini kaybetmektedir. Molibden metalinin çevre dostu olması ve yüksek korozyon performansı açısından çevreye zararlı ve oldukça maliyetli pasifleştirme işlemleri yerine, metal alaşımı şeklinde kullanılması tercih edilebilecek bir alternatiftir. Diğer taraftan yükseltgenebilen her metal gibi molibden metali de uzun vadede korozyona uğrayacaktır. Bugün gelinen teknolojide iletken polimer filmler kullanılarak bu sürecin uzatılması mümkündür. Bu çalışmada ilk olarak bakır yüzeyine düşük derişimde Mo iyonları içeren alaşım kaplama banyosundan ZnNiMo alaşımı kaplanmıştır. Molibdat katkısı her ne kadar yüzeyde pasivasyon etkisi yaratsa da, yüzeydeki aktif çinkonun varlığı ek bir pasivasyon işlemi gerektirmiştir. Bu yüzden ikinci aşamada ZnNiMo alaşım kaplanmış bakır yüzeyine (Cu/ZnNi ve Cu/ZnNiMo) iletken polimer film sentezi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fakat iletken polimer filmlerin yapısını birçok sentez koşulunun etkilediği de göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Geleneksel yöntemlerle bu etkenlerin sentez koşullarını ne derece etkilediğini tespit etmek oldukça zaman alıcıdır ve hata yapma olasılığı yüksektir. Bu yüzden yanıt yüzey yöntemi (YYY) kullanılarak hem deney sayısı en aza indirilebilmekte hem de birçok sentez koşulunun etkilerinin eş zamanlı incelenme imkanı ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada düşük derişimde Mo katkılı Cu/ZnNiMo alaşımı yüzeyine polipirol ve poli(N-metilpirol) homo filmlerin sentezine elektrolit banyo bileşenlerinin derişimleri ile tarama hızı faktörlerinin korozyon direnci üzerindeki etkisi YYY Box-Behnken tasarımı ile Design-Expert 8.0.7.1 (Seri No: 0021-6578) yazılımı kullanılarak optimize edilmiştir. Düşük derişimde Mo katkılı ZnNi alaşımın ve alaşımların (Na2C2O4: Na2Mo4) farklı derişim oranlarındaki elektrolit karışımı içerisinde sentezlenen homopolimer filmler için en yüksek korozyon direncini verecek faktör parametreleri tespit edilmiştir.
