One of the most fundamental problems of the economy, especially in developing countries, is unemployment. Each country in the tussle against unemployment, are developing and implementing appropriate economic policies in their economic conditions. One of the most important aspects of the fight against unemployment is economic growth. It is argued that, economic growth will bring with the employment growth. Besides, one of the main factors which affect the production significantly is technological development. It is possible to express the concept of technological development with automation. In terms of sectors, while economic growth; industry sector is seen as an important part. However, the manufacturing industry is directing the industrial sector especially. So developments in the manufacturing industry affects economic growth. Therefore, the increase in production and employment in the manufacturing industry depends on technological developments. In the light of this explanation of the increase in production is one of the main driving forces of labor and the other one is technology. Considering a general approach to the labor factor automation concepts have an inverse relation with each other. So there is an expectation that automation in production would result in less use of labor. In this thesis, it was to be determined the effect on the automation on employment. During the analysis is considered to have an effect on economic growth of the manufacturing industry in particular an analysis was performed. During the analysis is considered to have an effect on economic growth of the manufacturing industry in particular an analysis was performed. Sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry and automation were also analyzed how they affect employment in these sectors has tried to expose. Working with automation at the end of the employment relationship is a tight, as well as across the manufacturing industry sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry in particular, has been seen.Key Words: Technology, automation, robotic, artifical intelligence, employment, manufactoring industry.

Anahtar KelimelerTeknoloji, otomasyon, robotik, yapay zeka, istihdam, imalat sanayi.
