Artemia sp. is a live feed commonly used in aquaculture. Hypersaline lakes, coastal lagoons and sun salt pans spread across five continents which are available in a large amount along the coastal lanes throughout the year. In saltworks ecosystems, there are many variables such as temperature, salinity and unique creatures. Biotic and abiotic factors effect on the distribution and development-opening time of Artemia. In Turkey, it is necessary to investigate the effect of environmental factors on the production of Artemia, population density and quality. In this study, the effect of environmental factors on the population of Artemia parthenogenetica (nauplii, metanauplii, juvenile, rootstock) was investigated in Çamaltı saltworks. The data were used in this study analyzed by using SPSS for Windows 25.0 program. For the comparison of meteorological data and the population density between 2014 and 2015 correlation analysis was performed, also independent t-test was used for the data showing normal distribution. For the non-normal distribution data Mann Whitney U analysis was performed. Anova and Kruskal Wallis H analyzes were used to compare the variables between April and September when the data were observed. Multiple regression analysis was performed to investigate the effects of environmental factors on population. Since the faults in Nauplii and maternal subjects did not have normal distribution, the effects of physico-chemical factors on m etanauplii and juvenile individuals were statistically studied. The effect of environmental factors according to the significance level we conclude as the result of the study: For the metanauplii individual population, firstly THW index (felt temperature) ( p value 0.002<0.05) and then the precipitation amount (p value 0.006<0.05) had a significant effect were observed. For the juvenile individual population, the most effective THW index (p value 0.003<0.05) was observed and it was found that the amount of rainfall (p value 0.011<0.05) and wind speed (p value 0.049<0.05) has a significant effect according to the significance level.

Artemia sp. akukültürde sıklıkla kullanılan bir canlı yemdir. Hipersalin göller, kıyı lagünleri ve beş kıtaya yayılmış güneş tuzlalarının kıyı şeritleri boyunca büyük miktarda yıl boyunca mevcuttur. Deniz tuzlası ekosistemlerinde sıcaklık, tuzluluk, kendine özgü canlılar gibi birçok değişken bulunur. Biyotik ve abiyotik etkenler bulunan Artemianın dağılımı ve gelişim-açılma süresi üzerinde etkilidir. Ülkemizde Artemia üretimi, populasyon yoğunluğu ve kalitesinin artırılması için çevresel faktörlerin etkisinin araştırılmasına ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Çamaltı tuzlası Artemia parthenogenetica populasyonu (nauplii, metanauplii, jüvenil, anaç) üzerine çevresel faktörlerin etkisi incelendi. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS) for Windows 25.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi.
