Nowadays, split air conditioner is an air conditioning solution. Split air conditioners, becoming need, with heating, cooling and dehumidification feature. Split air conditioners, which have variety types and capacities, is be different depending on air ambient and special demand.Count of manufacturers increase with increasing of split air conditioner demand. With increasing demand, manufacturers try to achieve customer with wide range of product for compete. In this study, it is tried determine for customers which criteria is more important than other criteria. In this way, it will be easier for customers to decide which product. At the same time, manufacturers will provide competitive advantage by producing the product with criteria of customers give importance. Firstly, which criteria important were investigated when customers purchase split air conditioner and eleven criteria were determined. First criterion, whether dealers have to technical competency. Thus, dealer can convince customer with information of product, second criterion, cooling and heating operating cost and efficiency that is to say, whether it provides energy efficiency, electricity bill for air conditioner. Third criterion, purchasing cost and payment method, how to pay when purchase (as the possibility of credit card installment) and product price, fourth criterion reputation of company, it has to heard and well-known company with widespread dealer network. The fifty criterion, service network, it has to be number of service and well-service, sixth criterion, stock status, shortest term time. Seventh criterion, installation time, faster make installation, eighth criterion, aesthetics, it is defined as to be different color and design appearance of product. Ninth criterion, functionality, split air conditioner has functionality as online control, dust clear filter, smart eye. Tenth criterion, origin of product, has to which country and last criterion, noise level of indoor and outdoor unit, it is defined as low noise level. 48 people survey was conducted for binary comparison of all these criteria. Participants is be want to give score 1 to 9 for binary comparisons with the AHP method. Then, the geometric mean was taken and the common opinion was determined. Then, the geometric mean was taken and the common opinion was determined. The formed matrix was normalized and their significance levels were determined. As a result of the survey and analysis, cooling and heating operating cost and were the most important criteria with 15.5%, while technical competency of dealer was the least important criteria with 2.2%.
