Reducing of global warming effects and sustainable forestry, leads to understand environmental performance of the harvesting process, as well. Environmental analysis tools are needed to produce comprehensible environmental performance. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) can help avoid a narrow outlook on environmental concerns by compiling an inventory of relevant energy and material inputs and environmental releases; evaluating the potential impacts associated with identified inputs and releases; interpreting the results to help make a more informed decision. Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) Analysis (LCIA) is and inventory analysis stage, an inventory of energy, raw material usage, and environmental releases is established; the quantitative measures to evaluate them must be identified. LCI analysis involves creating an inventory of flows from and to nature for a product system. Wood production is necessary to supply domestic and global demands. The annual 3-6 million stere fuel wood production is also realized in Turkey with regular silvicultural prescriptions in high forest. Everybody wants to know how the research problem that is harvesting operations for wood production impacts on forest ecosystem or natural resources. In this study, the impact inventory of the firewood production is created by the life cycle inventory analysis method. As a result of the evaluation of the emission quantities, cutting process has been determined for 1 stere average 1.85 CO (kg), 1.66 CO2 (kg), 0.29 HC (kg), 0.38 SOx (kg), 0.02 NOx (kg),0.12 Particles (kg), 0.05 Metane (kg). In logging process has been determinated emission in 0.85 CO (kg), 3.17 CO2 (kg), 0.02 HC (kg), 0.64 SOx (kg), 0.01 NOx (kg),0.25 Particles (kg), 0.08 Metane (kg). Loading process has been determinated emission in 0.06 CO (kg), 2.48 CO2 (kg), 0.01 HC (kg), 0.64 SOx (kg), 0.04 NOx (kg),0.25 Particles (kg), 0.09 Metane (kg) and haulage process has been determinated emission 0.05 CO (kg), 1.65 CO2 (kg), 0.01 HC (kg), 0.01 SOx (kg), 0.01 NOx (kg),0.20 Particles (kg), 0.03 Metane (kg). These values are due to the use of chainsaw, tractors, loaders and trucks.
