This study was conducted in accordance with the type of descriptive research in order to investigate the emotional literacy and dyadic adjustment level and relationship between them in couples receiving infertility treatment. The sample size was calculated using the Power Analysis and Sample Size Software program. The sample of the study consisted of 105 couples (n=210) who applied to the IVF Center between 06.08.2018-30.12.2018 and met the inclusion criteria. The data of the study were obtained via face-to-face interview technique in Infertile couples by using the Individual Presentation Form, Emotional Literacy Scale (ELS) and the Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS). Frequency, percentage, Pearson Product Moment Product, correlation analysis, Durbin Watson test, Simple Linear Regression analysis, t-test, One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Dunnet T3 Post Hoc test, LSD Post Hoc test, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test and Cronbach alpha analysis were used in analysis of the data. Of the couples who participated in the study, 47.6% were between 31-40 years of age, 49.5% were university graduates, 71.9% were employed in any income generating job, 37.3% were workers, 87.6% were nuclear families, 77.1% wanted to have children for 1-4 years, 70% of them have been diagnosed with infertility for 1-5 years, 66.7% of the male spouses and 73.3% of the female spouses did not feel under pressure due to not having children and the cause of infertility was not explained in 42.4% was found. Mean ELS total score of the couples was high (131.21±23.00). Mean DAS total score of the couples was determined high 123,30±16,35. It was determined that there was a weak positive correlation between ELS and DAS (r=0.337, p <0.001). The results of the study demonstrate that the couples treatment for infertility dyadic adjustment increased in marriage as the level of their emotional literacy increases. Key Words: infertility, emotional literacy, dyadic adjustment.

Örneklem büyüklüğü, Power Analysis And Sample Size Software programı kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır.
