Haemobartonella, ricketsiales sequence, connected to the family of anaplasmatiocea; It is a worldwide disease that can different clinical symptoms in cattle, dogs, cats and mice. It is seen that with the point reached in the diagnostic methods of developing technology and disease factors, heamobartonella is more common than thought and more importantly threatens animal and public health. The clinical symptoms of haemobartonella are known to be somatitis and limited studies have been conducted on this subject. In this study, it was aimed to determine haemobartonella in cats with stomatitis and find effect of the treatment haemobartonella resolution of stomatitis cases. Research animal material were composed with 45 animals which were brought to Kırıkkale University Veterinary Faculty Animal Hospital. Hypersalivation, loss of appetite, cachexia, difficulty in IXIX, sensation of pain in the mouth, halitosis, lymphadenopathy were some of the clinical symptoms of the animals. Haemobartonella was searched on the surface of erythrocytes by staining with Romanowsky type staining method. Haemobartonalla were detected in all animals. FIV and FeLV were determined none of the animals. All of the 45 infected cats diagnosed with hemobartonellosis were given enrofloxacin once or twice at appropriate doses. Enrofloxacin was applied at a of 3 mg / kg twice for 21 days to 1 year and younger animals (16 cats), and at a of 10 mg / kg once a day for 14 days to 29 cats older than 1 year old, subcutaneously. Although the pathogenesis is not known in the light of the results obtained, it was concluded that haemobartonella can caused either a primer stomatitis or result in secondary infections. It was concluded that while the treatment of gingivitis protocols were prepared, it was thought that haemobartonella was a factor that should be considered in cats and that enrofloxacin was an effective agent in treatment protocols.
