The rights all humans have without any discrimination which can not beabandoned or devolved to anyone are called human rights. As a human right, asylum right means quest for a protection of a person in the other countrieswhen he can not or does not want to benefit from protection of his own countrysince he is afraid of being faced persecution with justifiable reasons due to hisrace, religion, citizenship, being member of a particular social group or politicalthoughts. A person who seeks for the protection of another state and whoseapplication is accepted is defined as a refugee.Although the right of asylum refers to the need of living in consistencewith human dignity, owing to states continual attitude it has been seen as a rightcreated by states. In this study, harmonization of Turkey with the EUacquis which still keeps improving with the reactions it receives in the context ofinternational law, results of harmonization and effects that will be brought2about with progress which will be achieved in the future in this issue will beanalysed.
