In this study, detailed spectral analysis was performed to the fast rotating (vsini = 188 km/s) Delta Scuti star DD UMa. During the analysis, archive data from the Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP, France) and high-resolution spectra which were obtained from the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory (OAO, Japan) were used. These two different data sets from two observatories cover a wavelength range of 3830-5600 Å and 3850-6800 Å and S/N ratio of 284 and 50-409, respectively.Fourier analysis with FAMIAS (Zima 2008) was performed to the time-series data (R=47.000) obtained with the HIDES spectrograph attached to the 1.88 m telescope at OAO. A fundamental frequency of f1= 9.1303 c/d, thus a pulsation period of 0.1095 day (2.6286 hour) was obtained. In order to determine the atmospheric parameters of DD UMa we used the Hydrogen Balmer lines (H ? ve H ? ) of the data obtained from the ELODIE spectrograph (R=42.000), which is attached to the 1.93 m telescope at the Observatoire de Haute-Provence. Model atmospheres were produced with LLmodels program (Shulyak et al. 2004) and converted to synthetic spectra with SYNTH3 (Kochukhov 2007). Fitting synthetic spectra to the observed ones and also taking Fe I/II ionisation equilibrium into consideration yields the atmospheric parameters as Teff=7450 ± 150 K, logg=3.98 ± 0.2 and ? =2.7 ± 1 km/s.The unblended absortion lines of the ELODIE and HIDES data yield a rotational velocity of 188 ± 14 km/s and 186 ± 11 km/s for DD UMa, respectively. Since the spectral lines of are mostly blended, we cannot use the classical equivalent width measurements to determine elemental abundances. Thus, we used synthetic spectra fitting technique to perform chemical abundance analysis for DD UMa. Fe I, Fe II, Cr I, Cr II, Ti I, Ti II, Ni I, Ca I, Ca II, Mg I, MgII, Sc II, Ba II, Si I, Si II, Mn I, Na I atomic species are present in the atmosphere of the star. DD UMa?s metallicity is Z = 0.013±0.003, which is close to solar (Z ? =0.0122, Asplund et al. 2005).The Ursa Major group membership of DD UMa was assessed by means of two criteria; kinematic and spectroscopic. The U,V, and W components of space velocity of DD UMa were calculated with the radial velocity derived from HIDES data. These kinematic values were compared with the two subgroups (nucleus and extended stream) of the Ursa Major group. By means of spectroscopy, the chemical abundance derived from this study was compared with the mean [Fe/H] value of Ursa Major group members. As a result, DD UMa is estimated to be a member of the extended stream of the Ursa Major group.

Ayrıca yıldızın mevcut tayflarından hareketle atmosferinde Fe I, Fe II, Cr I, Cr II, Ti I, Ti II, Ni I, Ca I, Ca II, Mg I, MgII, Sc II, Ba II, Si I, Si II, Mn I, Na I atom ve iyonlarının var olabileceği görüldü.
