The basis of smart and programmable houses, which are one of the most prominent examples of developing technology to facilitate human life, is to make the devices used in the houses accessible through various communication channels. Rapidly developing communication technologies provide opportunities for users to increase their comfort and enhance their security and privacy.Smart homes also provide important assistance in the efficient and economical use of energy. Today's consumer cannot ignore both energy saving and financial saving on monthly invoicing due to the high level of unnecessary energy consumption. In this study, an experimental device that models a real smart house is designed and the energy usage of a real smart house is modeled one to one. This designed experimental device was focused on the topics such as timers and cutting energy routes of unused areas with the help of remote access, with screenwriting options inside the home at different times to run different devices automatically or shut down, in the event that energy saving cannot be realized, such as the use of washing machines during the day, issues such as the realization of the invoice tariff at the cheapest tariff hours of the day and with this method, energy is used more economically and the solution is reached efficiently with more affordable costs.Key words: Smart homes. Smart home automation. Energy saving, KNX systems.

Enerji tasarrufu, KNX sistemleri.
