Nowadays, the density of the use of doping ,especially in some sports branches and its comingto agenda with some of our national sportsmen from time to time have taken the attention ofpeople. Certainly, the use of doping is one of the important problems of sports. Then, whatshould be done to solve this problem. We think that an important part of this subject is formedby trainers and physical education teacher candidates. So what is to be done first is to define theknowledge levels and ideas about the topic of these people and to display what should be doneif there is any deficiency. In our study, first of all, about one hundred and twenty sources, including related thesisprovided from YÖK thesis center, various publications from the libraries of universities, thebooks and articles of authors about the topic, and all the news about doping that have takenplace in local and national press, are reached. Then, two schools from each of Marmara, Egeand ç Anadolu Regions are chosen by simple fortitous sampling and the inquries are applied tototal 355 students. The obtained data is analysed using the statistics programme SPSS 10.0 andthe percentage and frequency values and crosstabs are examined, the relation between thepreference frequency of the answers of particular questions defined to research the knowledgeand ideas about doping in the inquiry are determined using One Sample Chi Square Test and itis tried to find if there is any relation between the variables or not using the Chi-Square Test x2As the result of analyses,it is found that the knowledge level of students? about doping isinadequate, the grade that students continue effect their knowledge level of doping, but thedepartment of students and the time they do sports do not effect their knowledge level ofdoping. The foresights that reached us to these results are explained in detail in the part ofresults and advices.
