Özet:

IIn this study, data from 223 articles published between 2005 and 2023 on the topic of Alevism, obtained through research in the Web of Science and Scopus Science Direct databases, were analyzed using bibliometric methods. Using the biblioshiny software within the bibliometrix package of the R-Studio program, a detailed analysis was conducted on the fundamental information of the articles, distribution by year, average citation counts, publishing authors, most-cited authors, countries of corresponding authors, scientific productivity of countries related to the topic, most-cited scientific journals, and most-cited publications. According to the research findings, the annual growth rate is 17.05, the average number of citations per article is 2.161, the international co-authorship rate is 0.4484, and the year with the highest number of articles is 2011, with 37 articles. It was also noted that no articles related to Alevism were present in the Web of Science WoS and Scopus Science databases for the years 2006 and 2007. Additionally, the number of articles showed a fluctuating trend from 2005 to 2023, the author with the highest number of publications in the field of Alevism is S. Aydın, and the journal with the highest number of publications is the Türk Kültürü ve Hacı Bektaş Veli Araştırma Dergisi. Turkey ranks first in both the list of countries with the most publications and the list of countries with the most citations. These results may serve as a reference for researchers interested in conducting future studies in this field.
