 After the February 6, 2023 earthquake disaster, especially the construction of shelters and the completion of infrastructure works are among the priority issues. It is of great importance to determine and analyze the financial performance of companies operating in the construction and cement sectors, which have important functions for the recovery of the countrys economy and the earthquake region. It is thought that the study will contribute to the literature by using the CRITIC-based TOPSIS method in terms of comparatively revealing the financial impacts on both the construction and cement sectors after the earthquake on February 6, 2023. Evaluating the financial performance of the companies operating in these sectors, determining their position in the sector and determining their position in terms of their financial status compared to their competitors will provide important information about the state of the sector. Therefore, the financial performances of construction and cement firms whose shares are traded on BIST are the subject of this study. The construction and cement sectors are expected to be financially successful in order to get out of the difficult conditions caused by the earthquake as soon as possible. Therefore, the success levels of the financial performance of the firms in these sectors were measured and ranked using CRITIC-based TOPSIS method. In the calculations based on the third quarter 9-month financial data of the last three years, it was observed that the post-earthquake period 20239 was the most successful period for most of the firms in terms of financial performance evaluation.

 6 Şubat 2023te yaşanan deprem felaketi sonrasında özellikle barınma konutlarının inşaası ve altyapı çalışmalarının tamamlanabilmesi öncelikli konu başlıklarındandır. Ülke ekonomisinin ve deprem bölgesinin yeniden ayağa kaldırılması adıan önemli fonksiyonları olan İnşaat ve Çimento sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren firmaların finansal performanslarının belirlenmesi ve analiz edilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu sektörlerde faaliyette bulunan firmaların finansal performanslarının değerlendirilmesi, sektördeki konumlarının tespit edilmesi ve finansal durumları açısından rakiplerine göre konumlarının belirlenmesi sektörün durumu hakkında önemli bilgiler verecektir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada hisseleri BİSTte işlem gören İnşaat ve Çimento firmalarının finansal performansları araştırma konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Deprem nedeniyle oluşan bu zor şartlardan bir an önce çıkılabilmesi için inşaat ve çimento sektörlerinin finansal olarak da başarılı seviyede olması beklenmektedir. Dolayısıyla sektörlerde firmaların finansal performanslarının başarı seviyeleri CRITIC tabanlı TOPSIS yöntemiyle ölçülmüş ve sıralama yapılmıştır. Son üç yılın üçüncü çeyrek 9 aylık finansal verileri esas alınarak yapılan hesaplamalarda deprem sonrası 20239 döneminin finansal performans değerlemesinde firmaların büyük kısmı açısından en başarılı dönem olduğu görülmüştür.
