Özet:

This study was carried out to compare some fertility characteristics of Holstein Friesian HF, Brown Swiss BS, Simmental SM, Holstein Friesian cross HFX, Brown Swiss cross BSX and Simmental cross SMX cattles registered in the herdbook system. The fertility records of 22,331 cows born between 2000 and 2019 between 2001 and 2014 were used as the material of the study. GLM ANOVA method was used for statistical analysis of the effects of genotype and region factors on reproductive traits. In this study, reproductive characteristics of cattle breeds and crosses were presented and compared on the basis of geographical regions in Turkey. Overall herd averages were 858.0 151.1 days for the first calving age FCA; 274.4 13.5 days for gestational age at first calving FGA; 1.980.98 doses for the number of inseminations per pregnancy IPP; number of live calves from one cow LCPC was 4.11.8, and calving interval CI was 441.288.8 days. As a result, The fact that genotype x region interaction is important in terms of FCA, LCPC and CI characteristics shows that the reproductive performance of the breeds in these regions is different in terms of these characteristics. It is believed that the selection studies to be carried out for first calving age, number of live calves per cowand Calving interval traits where genotype x region interaction is important and the consideration of these research results in the breed preferences to be made according to the regions will contribute to increasing the fertility performance of the herds.
