Özet:

Abstract: Journals are works that get the works together written in verse, prose or mixed verse and prose, belonging to the same or different poets and writers. There are many journals that have survived to the present day and the number of studies on journals is quite high. However, considering the hundreds of journals waiting for the attention of researchers in libraries and the importance of journals in terms of literary history and classical Turkish literature, it is clear that journal research should be increased. This study was prepared based on the gap in this field. In this article, the poetry journal which is registered in number T743 at Istanbul University Rare Works Library was introduced and the poems between sheets 91a-141b were classified according to MESTAP. The journal, which consists of 186 pages, contains poems written in different verse forms by poets who lived in different periods. 86 poets and 167 poems were identified in the examined leaf range, it has not been determined to whom 11 poems belong. In the journal, which mostly includes 16th century poets, poems of well-known poets such as Fuzûlî, Bâkî, Cinânî, Muhibbî are also included, as well as poems of poets whose divans have not been identified so far. It has been seen that, except for one poem by Zaʿîfî in the journal, all other poems were written in the tradition of classical Turkish poetry, poems of the poets that were not included in their divans were also identified. Keywords: Classical Turkish literature, journal, poetry journal, MESTAP, classification.
