Özet:

The reflection of the Arab Spring process on Syria caused a civil war in the country. The hybrid war policies of regional actors who cannot remain indifferent in the face of this war and their connection with local actors have triggered a security complex in the region. In this study, the Syrian civil war and its effects in the region are discussed in order to reveal the effects of hybrid war on regional security. Regional security complexes are more than just a superficial security dilemma, they are a more comprehensive security interaction with historical and sociological depth. For this reason, it is specifically examined in security-oriented studies. It has become necessary to understand the impact of the hybrid war strategy, whose applications have increased in battlefields in recent years, on the regional security complex. The study is important as it will contribute to the literature by enriching the knowledge required to prevent a future security complex in the region or to manage the process correctly in cases where it is not possible to prevent it. As a result of the study, it was revealed what problems a hybrid war causes and how it triggers the regional security complex.
