Özet:

In this article, the introduction and construction and decoration features of the Türbet Cam Cuma mosque, a work of the Seljuk period, which is the administrative center of Irans Razavi Khorasan province, will be discussed. Turbet Jam ماج تبرت Torbat Jam is a city in the Razavi Khorasan province in northeastern Iran and is the administrative center of this province. The city, located 50 km from the Afghanistan border, has a population of approximately 84 thousand. The city, where most of the people are Sunni, is a very cute, quiet and peaceful place. The Cuma Mosque, which will be introduced, is perhaps the only historical structure of this city and is also a complex that is still actively used. This work was first made during the Seljuk period, and later took its current form with some additions by the Safavids. When Sheikh Ahmed Cam 4401-536, a person loved by the public, died, a mosque was built around his tomb. This first mosque built around the tomb is known as Kirmani mosque. The mosque is one of the six important historical complexes of todays Iran, which left its mark on the period with distinctive features in terms of architecture and architectural science. The mosque was built entirely with brick material, so brick and plaster decoration was used in the structure.
