Özet:

During the phase of the National Struggle, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey had to deal with the occupying forces on the one hand and the treachery of the Istanbul Government and collaborating citizens on the other. In order to get rid of this triple pincer and to channel its power as a whole to the war against the Entente states, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey took action and took some measures. One of these measures taken by the Turkish Grand National Assembly was the establishment of the Independence Courts. The main channel of the research is one of these courts, which took place between 1920-22: Konya, Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Isparta, Burdur, Antalya, Adana and Mersin between the years 1920-22 and the Greek and Armenian minorities who were tried in the Konya Independence Courts of the First and Second Period. The main purpose of building the study on minorities is not only to show that the trials held in the Independence Courts were not limited to Muslims, but also to explain the perspective of the Turkish Grand National Assembly towards these minorities, who are identical in terms of ethnic origin with Greece and Armenia, with whom it is at war, and the genocide allegations ! that these states have voiced against Turkey today. In this context, in the article prepared by analysing the minutes of the proceedings and decision books of Konya Independence Courts, scanning and document analysis methods were used. In this direction, the copies containing the subject from the scanned archive documents were identified and transcribed. The findings obtained from the transcribed documents were tabulated. As a result of the readings made on the tables, it was found out that the Konya Independence Courts tried a total of 19,070 citizens, 283 of whom were Armenians and Greeks. On the other hand, when we look at the minority trials of these courts that served the irredentist policies of Armenia and Greece in terms of their ethnic identities and the sentences imposed in these trials, it was found that the courts did not harbour a separate hatred and hatred towards the Armenian and Greek minorities, carried out the trials in accordance with the principle of citizenship in accordance with the law, and did not sign a decision towards genocide or a decision that strengthens it.
