Özet:

The Middle East, which has been a politically turbulent region and a neighbor of Turkey, has been the scene of continuous intense conflicts and socio-economic problems for centuries. Changes in international affairs, social problems, and the current state of the global economy have fueled conflicts in this region. Naturally, international actors benefit from the continuation of these conflicts and terrorist actsand increase their influence in the region. International actors also support certain terrorist organizations. The present article aims to briefly discuss the establishment and objectives of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization, a new enemy that confronted the USA after the Cold War, and the life of its founder, Osama Bin Laden. Furthermore, the general conditions during the early life of Bin Laden, his education, social circumstances, and family, which determined his political and operational identity, are also addressed. Furthermore, the impact of the organization that was based on Afghani jihad onthe global jihad is also discussed.
