Özet:

As of the beginning of the nineteenth century, with the opening of Kazan University in the city of Kazan, which was in the Russian Empire, a radical process of change began, especially in science, history, sociology and literature. In the first half of the century, Tatar intellectuals working at Kazan University, together with Russian and Western scientists, made use of manuscripts and started studies in many fields for the printing and investigating of these works, and works that would make the first contributions to the field of history, archeology, literature and especially folklore were published. In the second half of the century, a class of intellectuals was formed who worked on Tatar literature, folklore and history and produced works by following the West. Among them are with his first story written in the last quarter of the nineteenth century, Mousa Aqyigitzade 1865-1823, Muhammad Zahir Bigiyev 1870-1902, Abdurrahman Ilyasi 1856-1895, Rizaaddin Fahraddin 1858-1936, Fatih Karimi 1870-1937, Sadri Maqsudi 1878-1957, Ayaz Ishaqi 1878-1954 and Fatih Khalidi. With his literary activities started in the 1880s, Fatih Khalidi devoted his life to the collection and rewriting of Tatar historical and folklore works from this period onwards. He wrote first examples of stories and dramas in Tatar literature. Apart from these, he contributed to the history of literature and culture with the calendars he published and the translations he made. In this study, it is aimed to give information about the life and works of the writer Fatih Khalidi, about whom a complete study has not yet been made in our country, and to bring this subject to literary history research, and to reveal the importance of these works for his reformist aspect and period of the author.
