Özet:

Migration is a concept that has existed throughout human history. Since the first years of civilization, individuals and societies have migrated for various reasons. There are many economic, social and cultural reasons for migration. Migration is basically the movement of people from where they live to other places with better conditions. When we look at it from the perspective of Turkiye, it is seen that the migration movements are from underdeveloped regions to developed regions. There are many factors that determine internal migration mobility. This study aims to identify internal migration mobility and the factors that cause it and to determine it with panel data analysis. While the net migration rate rates of 12 sub-regions of Turkiye between the years 2011-2020 were determined as the dependent variable, unemployment rate, education level, employment rate in agriculture, employment rate in industry, population growth rate and urbanization rate were determined as independent variables. The established model was studied by establishing a panel data model with the Stata17 statistical and econometric program. As a result of the study, it has been seen that the employment rate in the industry, the education variable and the population growth rate are significant variables in explaining the net migration rate and affect it positively.
