Özet:

This research examines the phenomenon of the meta-poetry in Al-RuṣāfīsDīwān, viewing it as a reflection of the poets self-awareness and understanding of the poetic process. It analyses texts in which poetry itself becomes the subject of contemplation and critique. The basic premise is that Al-Ruṣāfī does not merely create poems as a form of personal expressions; rather, he transforms them into spaces for deep thought on poetrys nature, limitations, and its social and aesthetic roles. The study specifically examines selected meta-poetic texts by Al-Ruṣāfī, in the context of their cultural and intellectualbackground. The aim is to highlight the stylistic and semantic elements of this approach and to clarify its philosophical and critical dimensions. This topic is significant because it unveils a lesser-known facet of Al-Ruṣāfīs work, emphasising his acute awareness of poetrys critical and intellectual function. It also sheds light on meta-poetry as a vital means of understanding the evolution of modern Arabic poetry. Using a methodology combining textual analysis and stylistic criticism, the study found that Al-Ruṣāfī viewed poetry as both an intellectual and aesthetic tool. Through meta-poetry, he redefines the relationship between the poet, the text, and the audience, establishing his work as a pivotal moment in the development of modern Arabic poetic consciousness. A key finding is that Al-Ruṣāfī frequently incorporates his personal experiences into his writing , using the poem as a platform for his reflections on poetic creation, linguistic boundaries, and artistic expression.
