Özet:

The main purpose of this study is to examine and discuss the emergence of the Madrasahs, which started an important turning point in the Islamic education tradition, within the Fatimids, the Shiite/Ismaili state, in the context of blief and politics. Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The findings were coded and three themes were reached. These are the role of the Fatimids in the emergence and spread of the madrasahs, the historical and pedagogical process of the establishment of the madrasahs in the Fatimids period and the madrasahs established in this period. In the study it has been determined that two important elements played a decisive and guiding role both in the stages of the emergence and spread of madrasahs and their establishment in the lands where the Fatimids ruled and in the education curriculum of the madrasahs established under the Fatimid administration. These are faith and politics. This finding was discussed and concluded around the themes.
