Özet:

The French Revolution rapidly affected the political structure of Europe and began to threaten the existence of European monarchies. However, as France evolved into a monarchy by making concessions from the revolutionary principles in a short time, revolutionary ideas began to shake Europe. The wars launched by Napoleon to consolidate his power in France caused the monarchies to freeze their differences and form alliances. After Napoleon was defeated in Russia, Russia started to play an active role in the developments in Europe as the defeater of Napoleon and started to express its ambitions in the Ottoman lands with the term Eastern Question at every opportunity. At the Congress of Vienna, convened in 1815 under the leadership of Austrian Prime Minister Metternich, it was agreed to jointly prevent actions against the monarchies in Europe and to protect borders. On the other hand, the attempts of Orthodox and Slavic Ottoman citizens to secede from the state were supported politically, economically and militarily by European powers.
