Özet:

Philosophy of religion is a field that has the potential to be a problematisation of almost every issue of life and human existence. In this regard, it is extremely important to address the Palestinian question, which is the bleeding wound of mankind, from an existential point of view. It is impossible to ignore the pain, the sorrow and the suffering of our Palestinian brothers and sisters who have been subjected to a genocide at the hands of Israel. For what they grieve is what we grieve. Their wound is our wound. Their tears are our tears. The question of Palestine is not just the question of a people or the question of a region. Palestine is a deep wound and pain in the hearts of every human being in the world. It is an unbearable pain that hurts the conscience of all humanity. Garaudy reacts strongly to the zionist extermination of innocent people in Palestine, without recognising any human values. According to him, the zionists are violating all the human rights of those who have been living in Palestine for thousands of years, those who have been working and toiling on their land. Garaudy, emphasizes the importance of media power in the Palestinian issue. He argues that the West uses the media effectively in accordance with its own interests. This allows it to justify itself even when it is wrong. In his view, the zionist propaganda and disinformation network is in control of the main media power in the USA and all Western countries. Thus, the zionist propaganda and disinformation network, which has penetrated the capillaries of the worlds media, uses the press, radio, television and cinema to criminalise innocent people. Garaudy is a harsh critic of Israel for all kinds of atrocities and oppression against the innocent Palestinian people. In his view, Israel does not have any historic, legal or moral legitimation in the violently created Palestine. At this point, Garaudy states that Israel displays an attitude based on racism, expansionism and state terrorism. Palestine reminds every individual on earth that he or she has a heart. Palestine calls humanity, which is increasingly losing the meaning and depth of its existence, to return to its essence. In doing so, it is important to remember that Palestine is not only an issue for one people or one area, but for the whole of mankind. Therefore, every individual living in the world should stand with the oppressed Palestinian people against the oppressor Israel if they really want to exist and make their existence meaningful. In this study, the prominent views of Roger Garaudy, a very valuable thinker concerned with the Palestinian issue, have been mentioned first. Garaudys criticisms of Israel are analysed within this framework. Finally, from an existential point of view, the Palestinian question will be evaluated.
