Özet:

Declaring its independence to the whole world on 16 December 1991, the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated some reforms and working processes within the country as an indicator of its independence. One of these reforms was undoubtedly the language reform. One of the main issues in the language reform was the adoption of the Latin alphabet. This issue was the most important part of language re-form. The first official Latin alphabet proposal after independence in Kazakhstan was published in 2017. This Latin alphabet, which was announced in 2017, received intense criticism from the whole public, especially linguists, and therefore this alphabet was revised in 2018. The alphabet prepared by the Linguistics Institute named Ahmet Baytursiniu in 2019 was considered more useful than the previous two alphabets. In addition, this alphabet had many similarities with the common alphabet of the Turkish World, which was adopted in Turkey in 1991. In the period after 2019, the fourth Latin alphabet was published in 2021. This last alphabet, published in 2021, was also close to the Common Turkish Alphabet. However, some letters had to be revised. At the beginning of the features sought in the alphabets to be accepted, the new alphabet had to be close to the Turkish World and useful.
