Özet:

In the agricultural sector, which consumes the most water, surface irrigation networks are being converted into piped networks to minimize conveyance and distribution losses and to save water by maximizing the use of pressurized irrigation methods such as drip and sprinkler irrigation. In addition, in converted or newly constructed piped networks, volume-based pricing using automated meter systems that encourage the conscious use of water by water users is spreading rapidly. In this study, agricultural water use service charge algorithms and tariffs applied in Türkiye were examined in detail and the current situation was evaluated regionally. As a result of the research, it was determined that six different methods are applied in different water user organizations: area, plant-area, time, volume, time-based and other methods. In addition, different calculation approaches, such as hydrant-hour and siphon-hour under the title of volume-based pricing and sprinkler head-number and tree-number under the title of other methods were tried to be explained. In 2021, it was determined that in 5 different groups in the water usage service fee tariffs to be taken as the minimum value in irrigation facilities operated by irrigation association by State Hydraulic Works, the lowest fee was 17 TL in Group 1 for cereals, anise, poppy, chickpea, flax, hemp, jute, sesame, vineyard and safflower plants, while the highest fee was 224 TL in Group 5 for banana plants.
