Özet:

In the digitalizing world, the transition and adaptation of SMEs to Industry 4.0, which is very important for our countrys industry, is of great importance. For this reason, it is of great importance that SMEs can monitor their readiness and maturity levels in this transition period with measurable methods in order to determine the problems that may arise in practice and to complete the process in a healthy way. In this study, it is aimed to determine the readiness and maturity levels of SMEs, operating in different sectors in Şanlıurfa, to five of the technologies that form the basis of Industry 4.0 Robotic and Autonomous Systems, Additive Manufacturing, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security within the scope of smart and sustainable supply chain. According to the results of the study, it has been revealed that companies operating in the energy sector in Şanlıurfa are more ready for the digital transformation process brought by Industry 4.0 than companies operating in the machinery and textile sector. While the most ready sector after the companies in the energy sector was determined as the companies in the textile sector, the machinery sector lagged behind these two sectors. Raising the awareness of SMEs in Şanlıurfa and surrounding provinces on the determination of their level of readiness and maturity will enable them to better understand the importance of digital transformation and to retain a competitive advantage in their sector.
