Özet:

This study focuses on the representation of Chinese literature within Spanish culture and literature, examining the concept of interculturality in the context of literary translation. The historical, geographical, and cultural differences between China and Spain have shaped the interaction of their literary traditions. The research investigates the historical processes of translating both classical and modern Chinese literature into Spanish and analyzes the cultural, aesthetic, and sociopolitical impacts of these translations. The works of significant authors such as Lu Xun, Lao She, Mo Yan, and Gao Xingjian have been introduced into Spanish literature, primarily through indirect translations, highlighting the cultural and ideological factors underlying translation activities. Furthermore, the development of Sinology studies in Spain, the role of translators, and the influence of Chinese literature on Spanish readers are analyzed. In this context, the representation of Chinese literature in Spain is evaluated both as a translation process and as the construction of bridges between two distinct cultural worlds.
